The work includes but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of new water distribution mains which includes: approximately 900 linear feet of new 4-inch, 425 linear feet of 8-inch, and 4,600 linear feet of 12-inch C900 DR 18 water distribution mains in open trench, blowoff assemblies, air and vacuum release assemblies, and a double detector backflow assembly.

Maino Construction and Cal Poly are seeking an Architect of Record with a record of excellence and a commitment to a collaborative delivery process to provide collaborative design-build services for the Dairy Complex Modernization Project at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

The work involves construction of approximately 4,900 linear feet (LF) of sewer replacement, including 4,400 LF (+/-) of 8-inch to 18-inch (primarily 15-inch) diameter PVC sewer pipe, installed by open trench construction with the option of installation of HDPE via pipe bursting, and replacement through an intersection which requires jack-and-bore installation of approximately 375 LF with a 16-inch diameter HDPE carrier pipe inside a 28-inch diameter steel casing. The work will also include installation of 11 sewer lateral connections and 18 new polymer manholes.

Generally the proposed project consists of demolition, grading, new pedestrian walkways, and site landscape improvements on the Cuesta College San Luis Obispo campus directly adjacent to Building 6300. Scope of work include underground utility locating, clear & grub existing turf, grind & overlay asphalt pavement, and furnish and install site amenities as detailed in the project drawings.
